This course will focus on developing
a working method toward learning the various elements of
design necessary for producing effective design solutions.
Assignments will include brochure design, logos, poster
design, public relations and corporate identity. This course
will include challenging assignments with the expectation
of developing portfolio pieces. Advanced techniques in
Photoshop, and
Adobe Illustrator will be acquired. |

: Advertising Design 8Weeks

A course that will teach you what good advertising
is: how to take a product and give it a unique concept,
and how to take that concept and creatively execute it
in a rough print ad. Advanced techniques in
Photoshop, and
Adobe Illustrator will be acquired. |

: Publishing Design 8Weeks

on every Wednesday

The forms a uses of new electronic publishing
technologies are explored in a laboratory context of experimentation
and discussion. The course focuses on sharpening one' technological
skills in order to produce larger object for reproduction.
Advanced techniques in Photoshop, QuarkXpress, Adobe
Pagemaker or Indesign and Adobe Illustrator will be acquired. |

This class will examine and produce various
types of sites - informational, commercial, transactional
and online communities. Class discussions will emphasize
design and concept development in order to realize a unique
vision for each site. Advanced HTML, Basic FLASH animation
and other current applications for dynamic web designs
will be covered. Advanced techniques in HTML, Web Editing
Tools,
Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator will
be acquired. |
